UJJAIN: A grain merchant's employees were robbed of Rs 13 lakhs at a city road here on Thursday morning.
According to sources, cashier Deepak Jaiswal of Ravi Enterprises, along with a colleague, was returning on his motorbike to the shop after withdrawing Rs 13 lakhs from HDFC Bank in Freeganj area. Near the Koyla phatak square, four youths on two bikes intercepted them and snatched the bag on pistol point.

Senior police officials rushed to the spot.
Soon after getting the news of the incident, traders at Chimanganj Mandi pulled down shutters and staged chakka jam on Chamunda square; disrupting traffic in the entire city.
The traders were angered over repeated loot incidents with the mandi business in particular.
